We were sliding into Berlin a few days ago as Ulrich fell on the icy sidewalk and then I fell over Ulrich as we were cycling next to each other at that point. My elbow was the first thing that hit the ground, but the fall was followed with smiles and laughter! The days are getting tremendously chilly and I have not seen any + temperatures in the last few days.
Getting used to the cold is a challenge and will be an adjustment for the next few weeks. Still testing layers we are wearing when cycling, eating or when we climb into the tent. Every situation needs different clothing… and with the limited clothing we have it gets interesting.
We took three days off in Berlin to explore the city and take a short break before we cycle towards Czech Republic. There is also a lot of work to be done, but I decided today to take a rest, watch a few YouTube videos and just do nothing… well until now 🙂 because like every week I will repack all my backs again and see where I can get a bit of extra space (Space I don’t really need).
