Time to Go…
Its been 12 days since I arrived in Anchorage, Alaska… and what a great time I had, making so many great friendships all around. Anchorage consisted out of many meetings, riding bikes, shopping for new summer equipment, seeing my first Moose and a few brews all around town.
When I wrote this blog, it was less than 24hours before I hit the road and like always, still had a 1000 things to do before I can start pedalling north towards the Arctic.
The route to Inuvik:
– Anchorage toward Denali National Park
– Denali NP to Fairbanks
– Fairbanks to Canadian border @ Little Gold
– Little Gold to Dawson
– Dawson to Inuvik…
This will be around a 2 000 km ride to reach the “real starting point” for my North American leg. Although I’m technically at the northern coast, I want to visit some of the most remote parts through Alaska and Canada. This is the reason why I’m on this adventure, to explore places & areas I did not know existed and share this with the world.
The next two months will be an interesting stretch of North America! It will be remote with loads of wildlife like Black-, Brown-, & Grizzly Bears, Lynx, Foxes, Coyotes, Wolves, Wolverines, Moose, Caribou, Bison, Mountain Goats and many more! The wildlife is one of the things I most looking forward to.
This stretch toward Inuvik is going to be a great start towards another great continent!

Looking forward in sharing my experiences! All I can say is… it’s going to be an epic year!
